People in Need is looking for Female Interns for its Syria Mission based in South Idleb Office
Position: Female Interns
Location: Hazzano Office
Proposed Starting date: 1/8/ 2022
End of application: 20th of July 2022
PERIOD: 3 months minimum - 6 months maximum
GENERAL UNIT DESCRIPTION
To allow the interns to be flexible, participate in work of more departments, based on needs, at the same time allow enough time for them to learn some things more in-depth.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES (RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS):
• Objectives
• Learn about Performance management
• Develop her Capacity
• Be trained about Administration
• Be trained about Archiving system
• To foster equal opportunities via enabling women with relevant educational background but none or limited practical experience to gain practical skills in the humanitarian sector and improve their future employment prospects.
• Internship aims at women specifically, acknowledging the need for pro-active measures to address the specific constraints and barriers women are more likely to face in their professional endeavors.
• Eligibility
• Must be female.
• Education and work experience, options:
• Currently in the last year or university (master, bachelor, doctorate).
• Has graduation certificate from University (bachelor, master or PhD), but has none, or very limited (e.g. previous non-paid, short-term volunteering) practical work experience. No longer than 12 months.
• Was enrolled in university prior to the conflict, finished at least 2 years of university studies but has not finished studies and received certificate due to the conflict, but has none, or very limited (e.g. previous volunteering) practical work experience. No longer than 12 months.
• Returning to the labor market after maternity leave, and have diploma in relevant field. Not having work experience longer than 24 months.
• Education profile must be relevant for the position (to be reviewed by HR and future line manager based on desired profile of interns in each office.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of computer and MS Office programs.
• Willingness to learn, motivation to gain experience, pro-active.
• In case of need able and willing to travel, engage in field-work.
• Understands this is a short-term, learning opportunity.

• Other tasks assigned by employee’s Line Manager corresponding to actual needs of the mission, programs, and projects.
• Substitute relevant colleagues (fully or partially) during their absence when assigned by employee’s Line Manager.
• Understand and adhere to the mission’s National Staff Handbook, PIN Code of Conduct, PIN Key Policies and relevant guidelines.
